Wonsun Paek (백원선) is Senior Legal Counsel for Abdul Latif Jameel Health, part of Abdul Latif Jameel, a collective of independent international, family-owned and diversified businesses, founded in 1945 by the late Abdul Latif Jameel.

A member of the New York Bar, Ms. Paek leads the legal affairs operations of Abdul Latif Jameel Health, a new diversification for the business which will focus on accelerating access to modern medical therapies and healthcare to developing markets around the world.

With broad experience in the health care industry from the business of medical devices and small molecule drugs to the development and manufacturing of biological drugs, prior to taking up her current role, Wonsun was legal counsel for the pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing subsidiary division of a major global Korean conglomerate, overseeing major manufacturing agreements and joint venture establishments. 

Before this, Wonsun held the position of legal and compliance counsel for the Korean subsidiary of a global US-based pharmaceutical company, and acted as Special Assistant for Foreign Affairs to former a Korean president.

Ms. Paek holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law, a Masters in English Interpretation from Ewha Womans University, Seoul Korea, and a Dual Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and English Literature from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea. Wonsun is fluent in Korean and English.
